21, San Jose State University - Marketing

What is your career ambition and what have you done to prepare for it?
My future plan is to become a Marketing Director. With my involvement in the community within the past years, I found that marketing was most suitable because I like to interact with people. In preparation, I'm currently attending San Jose State University, majoring in marketing. By continuing to participate in the community, it also helps me in getting to know the people in the Silicon Valley, which later, may help me in reaching my goals. In addition, this also provides many additional learning experiences along the road where dreams become a reality.

What are personal accomplishments you are most proud of having achieved?
We all have our goals and achievements, but reaching them is the challenge. Fortunately for me, I have had tremendous support from family, friends, and mentors in whatever I aimed for. They all occupy an important role in my life from guiding me to do what is right, supporting me in the career in which I wish to persue. One of the accomplishments I am most proud of achieving was to be able to keep the Vietnamese traditions, participate in cultural events, and to be able to walk proudly down the street in an Ao Dai.

If you were crowned MISS AO DAI, what will you do to help Vietnamese Community? Or others?
If I were to be crowned MISS AO DAI, I would do my best to fulfill my duties. Some of the duties are representing the Vietnamese community in charity events, help in the fundraising to promote youth centers and much more under the guidance of the Pageant Committee. But more importantly, always present and portray the true characters of a Vietnamese woman in the American society.
