With committed efforts to preserving the Vietnamese culture and tradition through our beauty pageants during the previous Tet Festivals, we would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation for your dedicated support by introducing more beautiful faces and innovative talents for this year's Miss Vietnam Tet Pageant. Above all, we wish you and your family prosperity and love in the coming Oriental New Year, namely the Year of the Buffalo
Furthermore, we want to take this privileged opportunity to thank each and everyone of our sponsors and volunteers for their valuable contributions in their individual ways, for instance, their time, energy, financial supports, and participation.
Congratulations are due to our current MISS AO DAI, Nguyen Thi Phuong Anh, as she completes an unforgettable year. Since being crowned in last year pageant, Phuong Anh has experienced many once-in-a-lifetime experiences and has represented Vietnamese community in Northern California with grace and dignity. Phuong Anh is an exceptional young woman and we know that she will look back on this year with a sense of accomplishment. On behalf of the Miss Vietnam Tet Pageant committee we extend our best wishes as she continues to pursue her dreams.
Last but not least, our affection and best wishes go to each contestant and their families for their graded efforts to prepare for and perform in this year's excellent pageant. Of course, every contestant participating in this year's pageant not only hopes to become the new queen, but also gives herself the opportunity to learn and to teach the qualities essential to become a more sophisticated character, gain extra confidence, new friends and a fuller understanding of our culture. This isn't just another challenge to overcome, it's a once-in-a-life-time learning experience that is both educational and fun.
