What is your career ambition and what have you done to prepare for
it?
In the future, I would like to pursue a career path towards
orthodontistry. Becoming an orthodontist is a dream yet to become a
reality. To prepare me for my career I have volunteered to work at the
local dental office helping the dentist run errands. I have also kept
up with my school work maintaining a 3.83 grade point average.
What personal accomplishment are you most proud of having achieved?
A personal
accomplishment I have acquired was becoming MVP in Gymnastics
during my Junior year at George Washington High. With strong
determination I worked hard throughout the season, practicing and
training long hours after school.
What person would you most like to meet? (Describe in detail why)
The person
that I would like to meet most in my life is my grandmother.
My mother has told me many stories of my grandmother's courage and
sufferings during her life in Vietnam. She raised five children on her
own because my grandfather died in his early forties. My grandmother
represents a strength in me, and if I were able meet her, I would tell
her of all the accomplishments that I have attained thus far.
What do you believe is the biggest obstacle you have been faced with in your life and how
did it affect or change you?
Last August my good
friend was killed in a devastating car accident.
Her untimely death made me realize how precious life is. One should
not take for granted the life they are given. Not only that, but they
should live their lives to the fullest. Going to school receiving a
high education and making a difference in the world in which we live.
If you were crowned MISS AO DAI, what will you do to help Vietnamese Community or
others?
If I am crowned MISS AO DAI, I will try to repre
sent the Vietnamese community as best I could. With the past experience I had as Class
President of my school, I had leadership in being the voice of many
unheard students. I will also try to look into the communities' needs
especially that of the children because they are the future of our
society which we must preserve.
