As a Vietnamese individual who was born and raised in America, a big personal fear of mine was to speak Vietnamese and get asked question about the Vietnamese culture. But now I am proud to say that I have overcome this fear, through the support of my family and friends. Ask me anything you like about the Vietnamese Culture, and I guarantee I will try hard to respond in Vietnamese, but if I can't, I will get back to you about it.

If I was crowned Miss Hoa Hau Ao Dai, I would try to help the youth of our community. I want to help with preserving our Vietnamese culture, including the written and spoken language through emphasizing our youth to go to Vietnamese school, with the support of our community. I went to Vietnamese school and I believe it helped me preserve every bit of knowledge of Vietnamese culture I know now. One of the most valuable things I learned was to have more confidence. Don't be afraid to ask questions.
