Throughout my reign, I enjoyed participating in many of the Vietnamese community events, from volunteering and donating to various organizations, to getting the opportunity to meet and make new friends along the way. Before joining the pageant I couldn't speak the Vietnamese language properly and confidently. I was extremely shy in public, and I lacked self motivation. I can now say I have excelled in my Vietnamese vocabulary, discovered a new confidence in myself, and achieved my goal of helping out in the community. I understand and appreciate how much we as a Vietnamese community are so rich in culture, tradition, respect, and pride.

I want to extend my appreciation to the pageant staff, family, friends, and Vietnamese community for their hard work, patience, endless support, and would like to thank you for indulging my life with new found experience, and irreplaceable memories. Even though my reign is over I will continue to offer my time to help the community to the best of my ability. I also would like to wish everyone a prosperous, safe, and happy New Year.

Contestants, I am so proud of each and every one of you. I hope that after leaving this pageant you've gained a sense of honor, respect, and true sisterhood friendship. No matter what the outcome I hope that you will continue to assist and promote the Vietnamese community.

To the royal court of 2005, I would like to congratulate you for making it this far. Your journey has just begun. I hope that this pageant has prepared you ladies for the world as it has for me. It takes a great deal of dedication, compassion, humbleness, and responsibility to represent the Vietnamese community. Embrace this privilege for this will be the most illuminating year you will ever experience. Just remember to be proud, be assertive, be honest and most importantly be truly genuine to yourself.
