ABOUT YOURSELF: I was born and raised here in San Jose, California. My Vietnamese is not as good as I would like it to be. I currently attend the University of California, Santa Cruz. I hope to become a pharmacist one day and own my own pharmacy. I am currently the president of the United Vietnamese Student Association of Northern California. I am currently spearheading a musical play titled GREASE to fundraise money for the children who are suffering as prostitutes in Cambodia. In addition to keeping up with my coursework, I feed my passion for the Vietnamese community by organizing events such as Black April Commemoration, Tet Competition, and a Cultural Show that unites Vietnamese Student Associations across Northern California to raise funds for new schools in Vietnam. I love to spend time with my family and eat at home. |
